Role Overview
Altius is in search of a Senior Blockchain Engineer that has extensive experience in both rust and blockchain development. You will tackle some of the most challenging problems in blockchain scalability and efficiency, contributing to a groundbreaking distributed storage system to supercharge the traditional Ethereum Merkle Trie. Experience building distributed systems is a plus, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a VM-agnostic framework for parallel smart contract execution in Rust.
- Develop and optimize a distributed storage system to replace Ethereum’s Merkle Trie, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Collaborate on the architecture and implementation of distributed systems for hosted execution services, including load balancing and dynamic capacity scaling.
- Research and implement novel approaches to optimize blockchain execution and storage.
- Assist in creating technical documentation, including system designs, architecture decisions, and APIs.
