Role Overview
Altius is in search of a PR & Events Manager to lead our external communications and event strategies. This multifaceted role requires media relations, public relations, and event management expertise within the Web3 sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Media Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage.
- Content Development: Craft and disseminate press releases, announcements, and thought leadership pieces that reflect Altius’ vision and milestones.
- Event Strategy: Plan and execute Altius’ participation in global Web3 conferences, hackathons, and exclusive networking events.
- Sponsorship Management: Identify and negotiate sponsorship opportunities that align with our brand and strategic goals.
- Speaker Coordination: Manage and prepare Altius representatives for speaking engagements, panel discussions, and interviews.
- Virtual Engagements: Organize and oversee virtual events, including webinars and AMAs, to engage with the community.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and social media teams to ensure cohesive messaging and maximize outreach.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 3 years in Web3 PR, media relations, and event management.
- Network: Established connections with media professionals and influencers in the crypto and blockchain sectors.
- Communication Skills: Proficient in crafting compelling narratives and content.
- Event Expertise: Proven track record in planning and executing both virtual and in-person events.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Team Collaboration: Experience working with remote teams across various time zones.
