Role Overview
Altius is looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and maintain the infrastructure that powers our Web3 services. You will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our distributed systems while optimizing CI/CD pipelines for seamless blockchain deployments. The ideal candidate has experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, monitoring tools, and blockchain node operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management – Deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar) for blockchain services.
- Node Operations & Maintenance – Set up, monitor, and optimize blockchain nodes and validators for high availability and security.
- CI/CD & Automation – Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline smart contract deployments and backend services.
- Security & Compliance – Implement security best practices, infrastructure monitoring, and automated alerts for blockchain operations.
- Observability & Monitoring – Deploy logging, metrics, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.) to ensure system reliability.
- Disaster Recovery & Incident Response – Develop backup strategies and rapid recovery mechanisms for blockchain and infrastructure failures.
- Collaboration with Engineering – Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services and blockchain networks.
