Today, we are officially launching the long-awaited Ambassadors Program. We call it Paddock Club!

Altius is building a strong and engaged global community, and we invite passionate individuals to become key contributors through the Ambassador Program. Whether you are an influential leader looking to expand Altius’ reach or an active community member eager to contribute through content and engagement, we have a place for you!

This program will be highly competitive. There are many people in the Altius community, and while we wanted to include as many of you as possible, we also wanted to make sure the program was small enough to be well-run.

Ambassador Roles — Tiered by Performance & Precision

There are 4 tiers of ambassadors:

1. 🛞 Garage Rookie – new and active members creating content of all kinds and levels. Welcome to the garage.

2. 🏎️ Track Specialist – a standout Rookie who consistently delivers high-quality content, hosts Altius meetups, and drives daily community engagement.

3. 🎟️ Paddock Leader – a strategic contributor helping grow the ecosystem through ideas, campaigns, contests, and real-world coordination. A key figure in the paddock.

4. 🔧 Paddock Crew – a trusted, high-performing community member who works closely with the Altius team. This is pit wall access: leadership, execution, coordination

Note: Each ambassador must earn at least 15 points per month to maintain their status.

How Does it Work?

The program runs on a performance-based system powered by the Altius Ambassador Bot — no more Google Forms or chaos. Tasks are submitted via Discord, reviewed by the team, and scored based on creativity, effort, and execution.

Each role has its lane. Each lane earns you points. The leaderboard shows who’s in pole position.

Tasks & Points

You will have access to a wide range of tasks designed to support your growth and contribute to the development of the Altius community. Tasks will vary depending on your focus area, and they will be tailored to foster engagement, learning, and community building.

Examples of what Ambassadors are responsible for include (but are not limited to):

1. Content Creation

• Infographics & Visuals: Create and share infographics, art, memes, GIFs, stickers, or Altius-branded merch.
• Videos: Produce long-form videos or short-form videos explaining or promoting Altius.
• Blog Writing: Write insightful blogs about Altius, covering different aspects of the project.
• Tweet Threads: Craft educational Twitter threads on Altius topics.

2. Community Growth & Engagement

• Social Media Support: Like, retweet, and comment on Altius' official posts.
• Telegram Promotion: Publish an Altius-related post in a Telegram channel (minimum 1,000 subscribers).
• Host Competitions: Organize community contests (requires prior approval).
• Meetups & Events:
  
  • Online Meetup: Host a virtual event (min. 30 attendees, team approval needed).
  • IRL: Organize a local gathering (min. 10 attendees, approval needed).
• Discord moderation or managing local language accounts: Maintain and grow Altius-focused community pages

3. Technical & Educational Contributions

• Translations: Translate Altius blogs and materials into other languages.
• Technical Work: Provide valuable technical contributions to Altius. Testings or writing tutorials.

How It Works:

1. Complete a task and submit it through the Altius Discord Bot.
2. A team member will review your submission to ensure quality.
3. You will receive points based on creativity, effort, and impact.
4. The leaderboard tracks points, showing top contributors each month.

Important Rules:

Minimum Requirement: Ambassadors must earn at least 15 points per month to maintain their status.

Quality Matters: Focus on quality over quantity for better rewards! Low-quality submissions may receive fewer points or even none at all, so ensure your work meets the expected standards.

There is no maximum monthly amount of points for each Ambassador.

This system encourages consistency, fair competition, and meaningful contributions!

Responsibilities

While ambassadors will have various areas of activity - such as Discord Moderators, International Representatives, or Technical and Creative Ambassadors - they will share key responsibilities that enhance our community:

• Community Engagement: Ambassadors should actively engage with community members, answer questions, foster discussions, and create a welcoming environment for newcomers.
• Collaboration: Ambassadors will work closely with each other and the core team to align on goals, share insights, and coordinate efforts.
• Advocacy: Ambassadors represent the project, spreading awareness, promoting its values, and educating others about its mission. They should uphold the project's reputation and encourage broader adoption.
• Feedback: Ambassadors act as a bridge between the community and the project team, gathering valuable insights, providing constructive feedback to improve products, services, or initiatives.
• Event Participation: Ambassadors need to participate in and promote events such as AMAs, hackathons, conferences and local meetups. Their involvement helps strengthen community engagement and project visibility.

It’s essential that all ambassadors adhere to the following principles to maintain the integrity and success of the program:

• No cheating to earn points. Prioritize quality over quantity.
• Treat all members with respect and kindness.
• Engage in positive and constructive conversations.
• Uphold the integrity of the Altius community.

How does the selection process work? (evaluation criteria):

• Community Engagement: We assess your involvement on Twitter (X), Discord, and other social media platforms to ensure you're actively interacting with other members and supporting the project's initiatives.
• Experience & Skills: We pay attention to your experience, skills, and how you can contribute to the project.
• Motivation: It’s important that your motivation aligns with the team’s values and that you understand how you can help the project grow.
• Previous Contributions: We also consider any past contributions you’ve made to Altius that have positively impacted the project. Your previous involvement will be a factor in evaluating your application.
